DjVu® Printing Tips

To Print from your DjVu plugin and obtain the best results for 8.5" x 11" paper, I suggest you do the following:

1. Change the setting in the Image Size box to 87% - see picture below.  Usually the default is "Image Width" which is best for viewing, but if you are going to be printing, then change the setting to 87%.  Do not worry that what you see in the browser does not fit within the browser.

2. Print the color images (covers) in black and white mode by setting your viewer to black and white (see image below where black & white button is highlighted).  new instruction: However, print the music portions in color.  Some of the music may disappear or print reverse black/white if you print the music in black and white

2. Click the printer icon in the DjVu task bar.

3. Unfortunately, DjVu's plugin does not retain the settings of the last print session, so every time you print, you need to make sure of the following: set the printer to Landscape mode (or portrait if the music is presented in portrait mode), click the "Current Zoom" checkbox, see below.
